  • IVR System obtains credit card information from caller

Start/Welcome Menu:

  • System automatically answers with custom message
  • System obtains caller id (automatically)
  • System appends time and date stamp (automatically)

Credit Card Menu:

  1. System explains per minute charges and verifies this is acceptable to caller
  2. System collects card number (touch-tone)
  3. System collects expiration date (touch-tone)
  4. System collects street number (touch-tone)
  5. System collects zip code (touch-tone)
  6. System collects security code (touch-tone)
  7. System pre-authorizes credit card for X amount of dollars (touch-tone)

>> If Approved
System routes caller to a live representative and begins calculating minutes, after call ends system multiplies total minutes X rate per minute and then charges this amount to the callers credit card

>> If Invalid Number
Tells customer number was invalid and gives option to reenter

>> If Declined
Routes call to a customer service number or plays message and ends call

FLAT RATE BILLING:
Pay per Call with Flat Rate Billing is the perfect solution for offering paid phone support or technical support by the hour.  For example we can set the call to end after 1 hour of assistance.

With the flat rate billing model card is charged upfront and then if successful call is transferred and metered with a set timeout allowed per call. With per minute billing model funds can be pre-authorized and then charged a set (rate per minute) X (number of minutes used) at the end of the conversation.
